    Primary Responsibilities:

    Duties are as follows but not limited to:
    • Report work completed daily to Director of Engineering.
    • Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints and/or requests.
    • Maintain guest privacy by ensuring Key Control Policy is utilized and ensure no room numbers and/or guest names are given out without proper identification.
    • Responsible for troubleshooting, initiating repairs, identifying malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment throughout the hotels.
    • Ensures that we maintain all brand standards and follow-up on inspection deficiencies.
    • Ensures that Engineering Department support all Risk Management initiatives and guidelines for fire and safety regarding Engineering including the proper storage of chemicals, paints and etc.,
    • Ensures that Quality Standards and Service are maintained for Property, Product, and People.
    • Communicates daily with other management, and department heads and employees.
    • Coordinates conducting the departmental operational audits and assists in developing corrective action plans.
    • Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
    • Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, Water treatment, Fire Safety, etc.
    • Attend all Facility Management/Property meetings as required, passing on necessary information to the maintenance team in regular junior staff meetings.
    • Perform daily and weekly property document inspections.
    • Establish and maintain department equipment and supply inventory levels appropriate to property requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned, of which the associate is capable of performing.
    • Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.

    • Prioritize, plan, schedule, assign and supervise the engineering department staff.
    • Provide training to staff on supplies, inventory, maintenance and ordering procedures.
    • Train engineering department staff on correct maintenance procedures and assists in repairs as needed.
    • Ensure maintenance staff is wearing proper uniforms with name tag and upholds hotels grooming and hygiene standards.
