Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mold Maker with expertise in designing and crafting precision molds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool and die making, be proficient in CAD/CAM software, and have experience with CNC machining and manual tooling processes. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail to produce molds that meet high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Design and construct high-quality molds for various manufacturing processes using CAD software.

Program and operate CNC machines to create or modify parts and assemblies.

Perform precision grinding, milling, and turning.

Inspect completed molds to ensure conformance to specifications and high-quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on molds and tooling.

Collaborate with design engineers and other team members to improve mold designs and troubleshoot issues.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards

Document mold design and maintenance procedures.

Must Haves:

Actual Mold Making/building experience

Plastic Injections Molding Experience

Experience in building New Injection Molds Required

High school diploma or equivalent  Must be able to stand for shift durations  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively  Excellent visual accuracy Preferred Skills  Completion of apprenticeship program or trade school diploma program Nice to have: - Apprentice experience
