    Overview:

    Highlight is seeking a highly qualified individual for a full-time General Clerk III position to provide documentation and call center support for the Small Business Administration (SBA) El Paso Loan Servicing Center. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and a strong team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and document processing skills are a must. The ideal candidate will also enjoy learning new software skills.     Responsibilities:

    Assist with various administrative matters.
    Maintain financial and/or other records (stored both manually and electronically).
    Verify statistical reports for accuracy and completeness.
    Compile information as requested.
    Handle and adjust complaints and escalate employee issues and concerns.
    Provide direction to junior clerk tasks to meet and exceed department requirements.
    Makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of guides and manuals.
    Provide training, as necessary.
    Provide clerical support in various departments, as necessary.
    Meet and maintain production and quality goals.
    Abide by all company safety regulations.
    Strong customer service experience.
    Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work as a team member.
    Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures, and apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.
    Strong reading and keyboard skills.
    Possess effective time-management skills.
    Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
    Must have the mental ability to concentrate on fine details such as daily report conciliation.
    Ability to repetitively lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
    Ability to repetitively push/pull and transport objects using assistive equipment.
    Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

    Qualifications:
    • HS Diploma
    • 2+ years of experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • U.S. Citizenship.
    • Public Trust Eligibility.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Previous clerical experience preferred
