    Summary



    This position is located in the Office of Administrative Appeals.

    As a Program Manager, you will add value to the agency's appellate program through designing, evaluating, and managing the agency's appellate training, quality assurance, and knowledge management programs.



    Duties

    • Builds and manages the agency's appellate training, quality assurance, and knowledge management programs. Creates and manages project plans for each distinct area and evaluates those plans to improve their effectiveness.
    • Assesses alignment of appellate training programs with current agency goals, policies, and laws, recommending updates and changes to those programs to maintain alignment with the agency's policies and priorities.
    • Facilitates successful outcomes by connecting subject matter experts from the AAO and other USCIS program offices and directorates to ensure that the agency's appellate needs are met and support its mission.
    • Creates and manages project plans for appellate trainings, document revisions, and quality assurance based on the agency's appellate training needs.
    • Provides expertise in managing virtual and in-person trainings to facilitate employee engagement and transference of skills. Liaises with other training professionals in USCIS and DHS.
    • Oversees the implementation of training technology and other learning support systems for application, as well as the evaluation of the delivery of vendor training to ensure learning objectives are met.
