Pinnacle Plumbing, Inc, a leader in the construction industry in South Florida for over 30 years is looking for an Accounts Payable/Office Admin professional. This professional will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The professional will also participate in the management of the office and have various other administrative duties and will work closely with the other members of the Admin team. Signing bonus is available up to $500.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide any other clerical support necessary to ensure the success of the organization.
• Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assemble invoices and related backup documents to be processed for payment.
• Obtain/verify invoice approvals, quantities, and pricing.
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable).
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Pay vendors by scheduling checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit.
• Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.
• Interact effectively with stakeholders.
• Assist in Accounts Receivable collections activities.
• Assist in the management of the office when required.
• Assist in any other activities that ensure the success of the Accounting department.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping is required.
• Minimum 3 years Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Common sense.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• High School diploma.
• Experience in the construction industry is a PLUS.
