- Design and development of specialized upgrades to address customized facility and/or testing needs.
- Develop, create, and review engineering plans.
- Develop cost estimates and proposals for facility upgrades based on customer goals/specifications.
- Review existing facilities/sites.
- Work with engineers from other disciplines to create comprehensive upgrade plans (HVAC, electrical wiring, piping, etc).
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for installation of facility improvements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience and 3 years of related work experience in construction or facilities engineering environments.
- Facilities engineering.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and experience with MS Office suite of products.
- Eager to learn, self-starter.
- Currently hold an active Secret Security Clearance.
- Master's degree in engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineer.
- Experience working on a DoD site.
- Experience in construction.
- Experience with NAVFAC.
- Experience with United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
