    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a PD engineer responsible for 10 speed RWD and RWD hybrid propulsion systems and their integration into vehicle spaces.
    • Take ownership of the DV and PV strategies to deliver a best in class powertrain system.
    • Work as a team to improve part quality and increase the customer experience.
    • Lead teams through vehicle level and transmission level milestones.
    • Lead testing requirements and execution of system signoff requirements
    • Must be in Livonia Michigan 3 days a week or more depending on specific testing/hardware needs.
    • Work with Powertrain Manufacturing and Vehicle Assembly Plants on manufacturing related improvement actions. Short term travel may be required.
    • Must be approved to travel globally.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering.
    • Vehicle repair or vehicle diagnostics background.
    • Calibration and vehicle data collection knowledge
    • Caltools experience preferred; ATI, INCA, ETAS, etc.
    • Hands-on problem solver and strong root cause skills.
    • Independent,; self-starter when required.
    • Good communicator and can foster relationships with suppliers.
    • A "be curious" and "continued improvement" mindset.
