Freight Optimization AnalystLocation:
Orlando, FLPay Rate/Range: $30.00 Duration: 7 monthsHours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Key Responsibilities:
Optimize supply chain execution through data analysis and collaboration with stakeholders. Manage large databases and use modeling techniques to develop supply chain improvement initiatives. Present analysis, insights, and recommended actions to stakeholders and leadership. Identify supply chain constraints and develop resolutions in coordination with key stakeholders. Create and implement procedures to facilitate quick adjustments to shipping methods, incoterms, and freight carriers. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and proactively address resource constraints and scheduling issues. Monitor freight metrics, including cost and performance, against historic and forecasted levels. Collaborate with leadership and finance to deliver on freight cost budget while meeting stakeholder needs. Implement and maintain continuous improvement efforts through standard operating procedures and guidelines. Assist with the development, delivery, evaluation, and improvement of performance KPIs. Work on freight projects assigned by the Freight Optimization Manager.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain/logistics and project management. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Python. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification or equivalent lean problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with import/export compliance, freight forwarding, and shipping methodologies. APICS CPIM certification preferred. Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while dealing with disruptions. Adaptability and agility in a fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, and pursuit of excellence.
