    Description

    The Co-Manufacturing Manager has direct responsibility to manage the Account Managers (AMs - customer relations), Product Development Managers PDM (project build, production, and change control phases), communications and messaging between HV and Co-Man customers, Operations and Scheduling coordination, AM field work management, customer service escalation, dashboard reporting, customer health and process improvements. This position reports to the Senior VP of Sales and Marketing.

    The Co-Manufacturing Manager has three main directives:
    • Leadership that drives team culture through team management efforts, inner-company communications, and development of direct reports (Account Development Managers and Product Development Managers).
    • Customer management including the active needs, proactive planning, regular reporting, and relationship management.
    • Process management updates and improvements including new project development, change control, scheduling coordination, and product management.
    Leadership Core Responsibilities:

    • Assist the VP of Business Development in developing the strategic initiatives relative to Co-Man customers.
    • Inner company communications in relation to Co-Manufacturing needs and initiatives including existing customer needs, product development tracker management (build & production phases), KPI's and metrics, customer reporting, and market updates and communications.
    • Responsible for the performance and development of AMs and PDMs to include one-on-ones, weekly meetings, incentive management, best practice sharing, continuous improvement activities, pipeline-to-results activities and reporting, and field work.
    Customer Core Responsibilities:
    • Develop sales forecasts and implement AM / PDM initiatives to drive actions and meet customer needs.
    • Ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
    • Service existing accounts with regular customer relationship building activities focused on existing customer relationship growth incentives.
    • Develop and update dashboard reports and presentations to make and improve communications directly with our existing customer base.
    • Manage the day-to-day active needs of the customer.
    • Create, implement, and manage proactive activities to encourage future health and stability of Co-Man customer base.
    Process Core Responsibilities:
    • Direct responsibility to coordinate with appropriate Operations, Scheduling, Quality, IT, and Supply Chain team members to maintain and improve situational and long-term Customer relations.
    • Monitors and contributes to the regular communications between Customer and Honeyville Team members including R&D, Pricing, Accounting, Scheduling, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracting, and Warehousing.
    • Monitors daily ordering and scheduling needs working directly with AMs and assigned Customer Service Representatives.
    • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily communications reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual Customer analyses.
    • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
    • Resolves customer complaints by working with the appropriate Honeyville Team members through investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Additional assignments and directives provided by VP of Business Development.
    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the wholesale food distribution industry.
    • Previous experience utilizing project management methods is essential to success.
    • Must have experience in leading professionals in their respective functions.
    • Previous operations background is preferred.
    • Proven ability to handle high level customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

    Education Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, technical sales or food science is preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience.
