As a PRINCIPAL CLAIMS SPECIALIST, supporting our GLOBAL REGULATORY ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL TEAM, you will be THE MAIN KNOWLEDGE HUB AND MANAGER FOR THE CLAIMS MATRIX SYSTEM, trusted to Ensure claims proposed and developed for product development stage gate processes, commercial launch, and post-approval are tracked, reviewed and managed with the advertising and promotional system at the Fort Worth Main Facility in Fort Worth Texas.

    In this role, a typical day will include:

    • Lead the claims development review and approval, (Through Concept Reviews and Veeva System Reviews), and substantiation support processes through efficient, effective and comprehensive organizational processes, project management solutions, and/or process improvement initiatives.
    • Acts as a centralized resource and knowledge hub for the status and history of claims development and approval across all Franchises.
    • Collaborates with cross functional partners to provide proactive support and training, and collaborative solutions to claims-related process issues.
    • Plans, conducts and provides project management expertise to one or more projects, processes, or process improvement initiatives of significant importance and difficulty where the scope, complexity, risk, and investment involved requires the broad application of diverse expertise and strong partnership skills. Responsible for organization and implementation of compliance audits as needed.
    • Performs or manages daily compliance risk identification, inspection and reporting. Develops and implements preventative measures and internal controls.
    • Leads organizational processes and acts as a knowledge hub related to (Clinical claims and/or references and Review and approval of claims globally and/or job aids).
    • Develops and delivers training; develops a range of communication tools to advise stakeholders of key outcomes or general changes to claims or systems.
    • Delivers tracking and monitoring of processes including visual reports
    • Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of metrics to help drive performance.
    • Leads coordination and development of organizational process review meetings.
    • Provides operational support to functions participating in organizational projects, processes, and/or continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Uses appropriate communication tools to ensure that customers are informed of project/process/initiative status as appropriate.
    • Adapts communications to different audiences. Assists in creating presentations with excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Prioritize activities for successful project/process/initiative outcomes.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+ 1 yr)
    • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
    • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
    • 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
    • Work hours: Monday through Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
    • Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in Commercial and/or Clinical Research and Development with prior strong experience working directly with Commercial
    • Experience in Project Management.
    • Strong, proactive interpersonal skills with a high collaboration approach
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple audiences
    • Direct medical product or pharma industry experience
    • Prior experience working in a Commercial launch campaign environment
    • Prior knowledge of scientific journal and research article process
    • Conversant with scientific or market research study design principles
    • Proactive influence skills
