- Quality Improvement Program Development
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a quality improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Policy and Procedure: Establish and maintain policies and procedures supporting quality improvement and compliance with accreditation standards.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Quality Metrics: Develop and monitor KPIs related to quality, patient safety, and satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Compliance and Accreditation
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., NCQA, JCAHO).
- Accreditation: Lead efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation.
- Quality Improvement Initiatives
- Project Management: Oversee quality improvement projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Interventions: Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to enhance quality and patient outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments for a unified quality improvement approach.
- Provider Engagement: Promote adherence to quality standards and best practices among network providers.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Leadership: Mentor the quality management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Training: Provide ongoing training on quality improvement methods and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of quality management experience in the healthcare industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Certification in healthcare quality (CPHQ) or a related field is a plus.
