    Monday
    through Friday, 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM, Starting rate is $33.03/HR High school
    diploma or GED, certification or training in insulation installation and
    maintenance is a plus.
    Two plus years' experience as an Insulator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
    Two plus years of experience interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to insulation requirements.
    Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Physical


    Requirements:
    Prolonged periods of
    standing, walking, bending, crawling, reaching, grasping, or climbing
    ladders.
    Ability to work in
    confined spaces.
    Able to wear full face respirator
    Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time. Certificates, Licenses,


    Registrations:
    Valid
    driver's license.

    Insulator:
    As an Insulator at our sulfuric acid manufacturing plant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing equipment insulation

    This position requires a keen understanding of insulation materials, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a chemical manufacturing environment.


    Painter:
    As a painter, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings or paints to various surfaces, equipment or structures.
    This will include preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
    Assists as helper to other craftsmen such as Millwright, Welder, Electrician, etc as needed.

    Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements.

    Loads and unloads insulation materials.

    Safety equipment inspections and inventory; developing and implementing new inspections for safety equipment; record keeping; first aid supply inventory; update MSDS's; maintain computer database for training; and miscellaneous work for the safety and maintenance departments.

    Perform and document inspections
    Update each document as the inspections change or discrepancies are uncovered
    Clean respirators and emergency response truck equipment after each use
    Contact and schedule third party certification of pressure vessels or inspections of other safety related equipment
    Maintain safety and emergency response equipment inventory as well as the first aid supplies
    Update the inventory records as items are added or deleted.
    Maintain records
    As new inspections are developed, set up new files
    Write work orders or bring to the attention of the appropriate department head deficiencies found during the inspection
    Audit other department safety inspection records to make certain records complete
    Deficiencies in record keeping are reported to the appropriate department head Report all safety or environmental
    incidents immediately and openly participate in the incident investigation.

    Write and implement new safety equipment inspection with the guidance of the safety or maintenance department head
    All inspections must be written in a professional and consistent manner with particular emphasis on detail and simplicity
    A thorough knowledge of the legal requirement, goal and method of inspection is required to write the procedure
    Interface with at least five departments: safety, maintenance, process safety, production, and laboratory
    Clean-up after emergency response drills, tours, and demonstrations for outside agencies
    Bottle watch and clean-up during confined space maintenance
    Run errands to make unique supply purchases
    Safety video inventory and librarian
    File for safety department
    Fill air bottles
    Hazardous waste storage inspections
    Must be knowledgeable with the site contractor safety program.
    Ensure equipment approved for use e.g., forklifts, safety showers, ladders, etc
