Job summary
Perform journey-level skilled mechanical maintenance tasks in the swimming pool, spa and building facilities on a regular and continuing basis.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and performs designated repairs of aquatic facilities and other buildings, including but not limited to pumps, motors controllers chemical feeders tanks HVAC electrical lighting plumbing high temperature medium temperature mechanical systems Operates various computer applications for the above said systems Occasionally alters systemsto achieve optimum results Maintainsandrepairsmechanicalandplumbingsystemscomponents Upon approval occasionally alter utility runs modify mechanical plumbing components Assists other staff Provides work direction student maintenance employees needed Supervise students Delegate tasks efficient manner meeting established deadlines area needs changing environment Demonstrate ability interact communicate faculty staff students general public professional manner displaying tact diplomacy patience Perform responsible manner Demonstrated knowledge PC Window applications Demonstrated knowledge pool cleaning tools equipment appropriate use same including automatic remote controlled pool vacuums General knowledge water safety guidelines
