- Assist with strategic management defined as the ability to synthesize data from various sources and provide specific recommendations related to policy and process improvement recommendations to improve organizational performance.
- Apply knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, APAN, IntelShare, Cloud One and other developing systems to develop and deliver training modules for the AFFOR staff to promote a culture of shared knowledge, data driven decision making and organizational awareness across business lines.
- Collect, manage, and analyze data sets from distinct sources, in different formats, and across various classified domains to improve data and information management in support of the command's mission
- Serve as an agency contact for key programmatic decisions in the occupational area related to the component, regional or headquarters organization
- Leverage industry tools and best practices such as Agile, SCRUM, Lean/Six Sigma, Continuous Process Improvement, and Lessons Learned Management to identify, analyze, develop, and utilize various concepts, solutions, and evaluative techniques in support of sharing data related to workforce management, training and development and other business services provided by the enterprise
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- This position requires a bachelor's degree in computer sciences, organizational leadership, or similar fields.
- Certification by a reputable Senior Knowledge Management Institution, or 7+ years' Knowledge Management experience.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification is required for this position.
- Experience in fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among teams and departments within an organization.
- Strong skills in organizing, categorizing, and structuring information to facilitate easy retrieval and accessibility.
- Proficiency in using knowledge management systems and databases to store and retrieve information efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for conveying information and promoting knowledge-sharing practices within the organization.
- The ability to analyze information needs within the organization and implement strategies to meet those needs effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with different teams and individuals to build a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Providing training sessions to staff on knowledge management tools and practices to ensure widespread adoption.
- Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to improve knowledge management processes and enhance organizational efficiency.
