    We are currently looking for qualified individuals to fill a part-time driver position in Toledo, Ohio. Ideal candidates must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record and experience navigating around Toledo and the surrounding areas.

    **SUMMARY**

    The Driver position works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and is responsible for transporting clients to and from A Renewed Mind clinical services in a safe and professional manner, as well as performing other duties as assigned.

    This is an hourly position with hours and schedule established to complete the required duties. This position is not exempt from wage and hour regulations as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor and is therefore granted protections under the Wage and Hour Division of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

    **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION**

    **Required**

    Valid driver's license

    Good driving record

    Experience navigating around Toledo and the surrounding areas

    **Preferred**

    Experience in a healthcare setting

    Experience transporting clients

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

    Pick up clients from their home and school using the assigned routes to ensure timely arrival and departure.

    Ensure appropriate behaviors are maintained by staff and clients at all times; provide de-escalation interventions when necessary and report all inappropriate behaviors to the supervisor immediately.

    Assist passengers in and out the vehicle as needed.

    Maintain a clean driving record and active drivers license.

    Report any tickets or accidents to supervisor immediately.

    Assist clinical team as directed by the Clinical Manager.

    Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times and report any inappropriate activity to the supervisor immediately.

    Inspect vehicle daily and report any noteworthy issues to the supervisor immediately.

    Maintain privacy and confidentiality as required by state and federal law.

    Provide excellent customer service to co-workers and clients.

    **ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES**

    Perform job duties in a manner thats friendly, considerate, and aligned with the agencys Mission, Vision, and Standards of Ethical Conduct.

    Organize and plan work for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

    Utilize IT system and software programs in accordance with agency policy.

    Utilize time off in a manner consistent with agency policy.

    Perform other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor.

    Ability to learn and utilize the agencys electronic tools effectively and efficiently within 90 days of hire.

    Demonstrate a current knowledge of legal requirements regarding the handling of Protected health Information.

    Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve in a timely manner.

    Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.

    Demonstrate knowledge of community resources and partnerships available for persons served.

    Demonstrate the ability to effectively function as an A Renewed Mind team member.

    Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.

    Possess and demonstrate effective organizational skills.

    Demonstrate the ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment.

    **PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

    Physical demands described are representative of those that must be routinely met by an employee to successfully perform he essential duties of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

    Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

    Ability to perform job responsibilities in facilities with multiple levels and without elevator or mechanical transportation.

    Ability to operate a computer and keyboard.
