Job DescriptionSummary
We are seeking four qualified special education teachers to join our team, two at an elementary school and two at a Jr. High School. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with students with mild to moderate disabilities and a strong understanding of evidence-based instructional practices.

What you will be doing:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction in core academic subjects, paralleling the regular classroom curriculum
• Collaborate with regular education teachers to integrate special education students into the general classroom setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and other team members
• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed
• Provide behavioral support and social-emotional development opportunities
• Communicate regularly with parents and professional staff to keep them informed of student progress

Experience you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field
• Valid California teaching credential in mild/moderate special education
• Minimum of three years of experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices for students with disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
