- 10+ years experience in the logistics industry including 5+ years in a senior management role.
- Demonstrated success in optimizing end-to-end logistics operations, including distribution network design, inventory management, and transportation.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles, practices, and trends.
- Proficiency in using logistics management systems and technologies.
- Proven ability to develop creative logistics strategies, models, and processes that reduce cost and optimize service to customers in the short, medium and long term.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to demonstrate data driven leadership.
- Knowledge of budgeting techniques and ability to monitor, manage and control costs/cost trends and provide reliable forecasts.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan and deploy resources to support business needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to engage and influence all stakeholders with specific experience presenting to Executive leadership.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within and across functions to achieve ambitious goals.
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including data analytics within supply chain functions.
- Experience in business process design and implementation including problem-solving, negotiations, and team-building with non-direct reports.
- APICS certifications are highly valued including CPIM, CLTD, CSCP.
- Business application technology thinking/mindset, including the ability to create an understanding of a larger system by examining linkages and interactions between components.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of food and beverages from our distribution centers and culinary centers to over 800+ clients, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
You will implement a technology focused logistics strategy for our multi-state organization, with a supply chain function that becomes a leading logistics network in our industry.
WHAT IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
Team Development:
Recruit, develop, and sustain a high-performing team. Provide continued coaching, development, and growth of employees in support of current operational objectives and future succession requirements.
Logistics Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy that aligns with Continental's business objectives and supports the smooth flow of food and beverage to client sites.
Distribution Network Management:
Oversee the design, optimization, and management of the distribution network, including the selection of distribution centers, culinary centers, transportation providers, and other logistics partners
Inventory Reconciliation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment to minimize stockouts.
Ensure sound inventory management, product movement reconciliation, and control processes to maximize inventory accuracy (quantity and value) to meet client expectations.
Logistics Vendor Management:
Oversee all logistic vendor/service providers to ensure high quality of service to internal and external customers.
Negotiate and implement logistics vendor agreements providing advantageous financial terms and the lowest total cost while also supporting quality operational performance.
Establish vendor KPI's and quarterly performance reviews to effectively evaluate and manage partnerships.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track logistics performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to Senior Leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending actionable strategies.
Ensure operational excellence in functional areas through the establishment and utilization of robust processes, KPIs, and dashboards to drive accountability and results.
Collaborates with Data Analysts to proactively identify areas of opportunity for cost management, efficiency, and customer service.Supply Chain Optimization:
Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes, systems, and infrastructure to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and reduce lead times, while maintaining product quality and integrity
Technology and Innovation:
Monitor and manage the utilization of logistics management programs and ensure a strong working partnership with IT to support maximum system performance.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage automation, digitalization, and analytics to drive process efficiencies and enhance overall logistics capabilities.
Fiscal Responsibility:
Guides the development and management of logistics spending for the entire organization. Prepare and actively manage annual budgets, capital improvement plans, and operating goals/objectives. Leads Fleet spending to ensure operational effectiveness and cost effectiveness.
Compliance:
Ensure all logistics policies, procedures and operations are compliant with all applicable laws and statutory regulations
