    What's the role?

    As part of our newly developing and growing US business, the Bookkeeper / Accountant will be working closely with the UK Based Finance Controller to support the finance function.

    This will be a varied role working in a small team with a range of duties such accounts payable, receivable, operations, reporting and other areas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant U.S. accounting standards.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
    • Purchase and Sales Ledger Duties
    • Credit Control
    • Bank Reconciliation
    • Administration duties
    • Data Analysis
    • Project Work

    Your Background and Experience:

    • Relevant experience in a Bookkeeping / Accounting / Finance Assistant role or similar
    • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles
    • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
    • Experience ensuring transactions comply with industry regulations
    • Familiarity with Financial Reporting
    • Experience in a fast growing SME would be advantageous
