    Bilingual Operations Team Lead

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hydroponics Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydroponic systems and a passion for sustainable agriculture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the hydroponic work area, including planting, harvesting, and maintenance
    • Train and mentor crew members on proper hydroponic techniques and procedures
    • Monitor and adjust nutrient levels, pH, and temperature to optimize plant growth
    • Implement and maintain a pest management program to ensure a healthy crop
    • Collaborate with management to develop and implement production plans and schedules
    • Maintain accurate records of plant growth, harvest yields, and inventory
    • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
    • Continuously research and implement new hydroponic technologies and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in hydroponic agriculture or a related field
    • Strong knowledge of plant biology, nutrient management, and pest control
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Familiarity with greenhouse automation systems and environmental controls
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
    • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is a plus
    • Bilingual: English/Spanish
