    About the job:
    Meet is working with a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapeutics. They are seeking a highly motivated, organized and proactive individual to join the team as the HR Manager. The ideal candidate is an energetic and highly proactive individual that enjoys wearing multiple hats. This role handles a wide range of culture, HR admin, and talent acquisition duties.


    Responsibilities:
    o Develop and champion the onboarding program to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization.
    o Ensure company practices and policies are in line with the company's mission and overall value system.
    o Develop strong relationships with the employee base and address any employee relations issues that
    arise.
    o Nurture a positive and supportive working environment.

    o Build strong relationships with external vendors across the various areas of HR, fostering trust and promoting collaboration (benefit brokers, benefit carriers, recruitment firms, system vendors, etc.).

    o Main point of contact between Human Resources and Payroll, ensuring all employee compensation changes are communicated appropriately.
    o Oversee and manage the performance appraisal program with the main goal to drive high performance.
    o Work with the Head of Human Resources to manage the compensation review process is executed seamlessly and accurately.

    o Manage the administration of company's health benefits including Open Enrollment, rollout of new programs and being the main point of contact for employee questions.

    o Design and implement employee retention strategies.
    o Ensure Handbook is current and up to date, reflecting the company's culture and best practices.
    o Develop, update and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
    o Stay current with industry trends and changes in employment laws to proactively address compliance issues.
    o Maintain company organization charts, internal intranet and employee directory.
    o Collaborate and rollout HRIS and related processes to ensure systems are used appropriately.
    o Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing and onboarding.
    o Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
    o Collaborate with hiring manager to understand staffing needs and ensure selection of top-tier
    candidates.

    o Cultivate relationships with recruitment firms to ensure they have an understanding of the company's culture and job requirements specific to each open position.


    Qualifications:
    o Bachelor's Degree required and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant HR experience.
    o Solid knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and practices.
    o Experience in the administration of HR programs including benefits, compensation, performance management, etc.
    o Sound judgement and confidentiality a must.
    o Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    o Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
    o Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in PowerPoint and Excel.

    o Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong level of attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

    o Desire to continue learning and develop.
    o Experience working in the biotech industry preferred.
