- Read blueprints or technical diagrams
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience as certified electrician
- Proven experience as an electrician
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
- Through knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guideline
- Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving ability
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
- Valid license to practice profession
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to pass a postoffer drug screen, physical, background check, and Livescan (Dept of Justice) Fingerprint criminal check
- Must have a reliable vehicle that can accommodate a 6' ladder
- Must have own tools
- These positions will work evening hours. Must be willing and able to work 1st or 2nd shift.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb

Our customer is looking for an experienced Electrician. Candidates must have prior experience with electrical installation and service work.
Our customer is a premiere technology company, designing, building and maintaining voice, data and video networks throughout the country.
With 25 years of experience and more than 450 employees, they work closely with technical partners to provide customized solutions for public and private K-12 and higher Ed schools, ports and terminals, hospitals, large and small commercial enterprises, and state, local, and federal agencies.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Must have High School Diploma/GED & be certified by the State of CA to practice profession
Must be able to pass background, drug, and livescan
Must have transportation to carry a 6ft ladder & hand tools with them to sites*
Must be willing to work mornings (6:30am) or evenings (2:30pm)
