    We are hiring for Spring, Summer and Fall placements.
    Required to Qualify:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Complete the Global Compliance Network (GCN) training modules.
    • Must be able to report daily for in-person teaching at the designated school location.

    Summary:
    As an employee of StaffEZ you provide direct and indirect instruction to students with disabilities in-class and consults with other school personnel in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of special education services provided in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). The area of concentration will be for those students receiving services in traditional schools. Bilingual and biliterate in targeted language may be required depending on assignment.

    Essential Job Functions (note this is not an exhaustive list of the duties performed for this position):
    • Adapts classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the classroom teacher for the purpose of supporting and reinforcing classroom objectives.
    • Assists in implementing instructional programs and lesson plans and provides instruction to students in a variety of individual and group activities.
    • Participates in the implementation of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and behavioral plans by the IEP team for students with behavioral needs or other special conditions.
    • Performs clerical tasks to assist in the preparation of instructional materials.
    • Maintains data collection and documentation of activities, assignments and assistance provided to students.
    • Attending meetings, professional development, medical and behavioral training.
    • May assist with administering immediate first aid and medical assistance as instructed by a health care professional (e.g. diapering, tube feeding, colostomy bags, medication, etc.), assists students with personal care tasks, including but not limited to, bathroom, clothing, hygiene, and toileting, and applies and removes physical therapy appliances as instructed by the service provider according to the IEP plan.
    • Assists students with mobility needs such as lifting and positioning, in and out of wheelchairs; loading and unloading on the bus; transporting students in their wheelchairs in and around school and on field trips.
    • Assists students with accessing their electronic communicators, switches, pointers, feeders, etc.
    • Assists with pre-lunch and lunch activities and monitors students during assigned periods within a variety of school environments.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.
    • Represent the District and STAFFEZ in a professional manner by performing all job functions at a satisfactory or above level.
    • Interact with co-workers, administration, students, parents, and the community in a positive, supportive, and cooperative ways.
    • Performs other related duties, including special projects, as required or requested, consistent with reasonable expectations for the contracted position.

    Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED.

    Background and Drug Test:
    • Must meet criminal history background requirements (requires FBI Fingerprint and Drug clearance).

    Work Year, Hours & Compensation: 7.5 hours daily, performing on student attendance days. $30.00-$35.00 per hour.

    FLSA: Non Exempt.
