You are experienced in leading teams, managing organizational operations, executing strategic initiatives, and evaluating financial statements. You enjoy analyzing market trends and maximizing an organization's competitive advantage in the marketplace.

What You'll Do

Executive:

· Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team alongside the Chief Executive | Engineering Officer and Chief Product Development Officer.

Strategy & Business Development:

· Develops, in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, a comprehensive strategic plan and growth strategy.

· Leads and manages Business Development staff.

· Assists in the preparation and review of product development and manufacturing contracts and statements of work.

Finances:

· Leads and manages Accounting staff.

· Prepares Operational Budgets.

· Monitors and reports trends to the CEO.

· Prepares income projections.

· Makes cash management recommendations to the CEO.

· Analyzes profit margins and identifies opportunities for improved efficiency and growth.

· Analyzes pricing models and makes recommendations for how to best sell AED's products and services.

Operations:

· Leads and manages Operations staff.

· Reviews and analyzes organizational operations and identifies opportunities for improvement.

· Reviews and monitors compliance matters, such as ITAR, visitor logs, and exports.

· Monitors compliance with terms and expiration dates of all internal and external agreements such as development contracts, NDAs, employee agreements, and AED Employment Handbook.

· Reviews and monitors insurance policies to ensure AED's coverage is adequate for operations and in compliance with development contracts.

· Prepares, negotiates, implements, and monitors operational consultant contracts.

· Oversees all HR activities.

· Develops and oversees company culture activities and initiatives.

· Prepares company policies, procedures, and guidelines in cooperation with the Executive Leadership Team.

· Participates in the planning of strategic initiatives and identifying and mitigating strategic risks.

· Manages and/or oversees special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CEO.

Marketing:

· Provides strategic and operational direction of AED's marketing efforts.

· Develops and implements marketing strategies to achieve company goals.

· Identifies new project opportunities, cultivates partner and client relationships, and executes marketing initiatives.

· Develops content, messaging, and social media strategies.

· Oversees development of marketing collateral, including AED's website, brochures, and other materials.

· Manages all external communication channels, including social media.

· Develops a community engagement and outreach plan.

· Represents AED at community and industry events.

Qualifications

Experience:

· 10 years management experience

· Proven track record of leadership in strategy development, business development, and operational roles.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.

· Pass a comprehensive background check.

· Candidates must be able to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control and ITAR compliance laws, which require proof that the candidate is a U.S. person.

· Professionalism representing AED when interacting with staff, vendors, clients, and the public.

· Organizational skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks independently.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
