    The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that optimize commodity management, aligning planning activities with long-term goals and market trends.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement planning strategies to optimize commodity management.
    • Lead cross-functional teams for planning initiatives.
    • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
    • Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
    • Oversee domestic and import supply management.
    • Develop solutions for supply shortages and optimize resource allocation.
    • Lead the team to develop accurate forecasts for sales, packaging, and commodities.
    • Oversee and delegate order allocation strategy.
    • Direct team to utilize data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy.
    • Identify and implement process improvements.
    • Communicate planning strategies to the executive team.
    • Collaborate with other departments for alignment.
    • Represent the planning department in cross-functional meetings.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on planning performance.
    • Resolve escalated issues and discrepancies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in agriculture business administration or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in management, demand and supply planning within the agricultural industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Demonstrated capacity to work well with others, strong organizational and communication skills, and service-focused attitude.
    • Proficiency with Famous software preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

    Estimated Salary

    $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
