    Overview:

    Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations.     Under general supervision, operates standard, portable, and specialized X?ray equipment to perform radiographic examinations used for diagnosis and treatment. Provides appropriate patient care, develops film and instructs radiology students as needed.

    Location: Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St.Petersburg, FL

    Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon 8:30 PM-7 AM.

    Responsibilities:
    • Utilizes ionizing radiation and technical skills to produce advanced diagnostic imaging for interpretation by the radiologist.
    • Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients.
    • Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies.
    • Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels.
    • Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS.
    Qualifications:
    • Completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography school.
    • Florida State Radiography License.
    • ARRT registered.
    • Current Basic Life Support, AHA.
    • Prefers someone with, Inpatient, outpatient, OR, trauma imaging experience.
