    What Youll DoCollaborate with industry open ecosystem leaders The Global Open Ecosystem Team (GOST) builds emerging ecosystems to support Samsung hardware.

    Our team is comprised of key contributors to open standards and open source projects such as the Linux kernel, xNVME, fio and the Storage Performance Development Kit ( ).In this role you will work with SPDK experts to support development activities, which include a mix of upstream open-source contributions and support for internal Samsung projects leveraging SPDK.Develop SPDK features to improve and promote Samsung-related business needs.

    This includes developing support for new NVMe features in Samsung SSDs, improving performance and efficiency of SPDK, enhancing SPDK usability for Samsung customers and internal users.

    Actively participate and strengthen Samsungs influence in the SPDK open-source community.

    This includes collaborating with SPDK community members across the industry in developing quality patches for SPDK upstream and responding to feedback.

    Debug, root cause and fix issues identified in SPDK, with consultation as needed with Samsung SPDK experts.
    Build expertise to support teams within Samsung that are using SPDK for a variety of use cases.
    Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
