    SPA has an immediate need for a HR Coordinator for our Benefits and Leave Team.


    The HR Coordinator is the first point of contact for employees seeking assistance with their benefits and leave administration from Human Resources (HR).

    This position receives and responds to employee questions including inquiries about HR benefit and leave programs and general guidance on the selection and use of the programs.


    This position will involve day-to-day employee interaction, facilitating timely processing of employment verifications, basic benefits and leave requests, and assisting with a variety of benefit and wellness events.

    The HR Coordinator will also provide some general administrative support in the HR department.
    Responsibilities

    Provides customer service in response to HR inquiries. Stays up-to-date on the latest HR programs and initiatives in order to triage and provide responses to related inquiries.

    Forwards complex requests to appropriate specialty HR area.
    Provides general guidance to employees regarding the availability of various benefits and leave programs.

    This includes providing information on the overall process for applying for each of the programs.
    Processes employment verifications, leave requests, and general benefit system administration tasks.

    Supports the separation process, including processing HR actions related to end of employment for benefits, employee check-outs, and HR paperwork.

    Provides general administrative support in the HR department to include scheduling appropriate conference rooms and meeting resources for benefit vendor meetings and employee events.

    Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications


    Required Qualifications:
    Associates Degree and 3 years of relevant experience
    Experience in HR and in a customer service/help desk environment are preferred
    Intermediate to Advance skills with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite programs
    Proactive and self-motivated with strong organizational skills
    Detail oriented in ensuring work is completed accurately
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
