    We currently have an opening for a Senior Project Manager in our Structural Division. This position is based in Brookfield, WI.

    The successful candidate will have supervisory responsibility for staff and numerous project management and client development responsibilities to help grow our building structural design practice in the Milwaukee area and beyond.

    Senior Structural Project Manager - Primary Responsibilities:

    Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects
    Manage and review structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments including the preparation of plans, schedules and details
    Review and design structural systems for a variety of healthcare, commercial, retail, multi-family residential, industrial and institutional buildings nationwide
    Review Structural calculations for submittal
    Manage CAD and BIM Technicians to produce contract documents and BIM models
    Manage engineers on the team on larger projects
    Communicate with clients and maintain project schedules and design budgets

    Requirements

    Senior Structural Engineering Project Manager - Skills/Requirements:

    Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in the structural design of primary building systems with quality control and oversight responsibilities
    Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly preferred
    Extensive knowledge of a variety of structural systems including structural steel, CMU, wood, reinforced concrete and post tensioned concrete
    Strong working knowledge of local and national building codes and standards
    Professional Engineer Licensure required. Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure preferred.
    Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products; and working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD programs
    Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs including RISA, RAM and other structural design software suites
    Knowledgeable in consulting and construction practices associated with design/bid/build, design/build and construction manager roles and responsibilities
    Attentive to detail and accuracy
