Job Summary
Performs duties to assist students employees patients and visitors to park their vehicles in a safe and proper manner includes monitoring and patrolling parking lots identifying violators of parking rules and issuing citationsand directing customers to available parking areas.Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited toPatrol assigned areas for compliance with parking rules and regulations issue warnings and/or citations as necessary and appropriate using hand-held electronic ticket writer as required use license plate recognition equipment for enforcement tasksOperate re-supply parking kiosks gate arms other parking equipment Conduct routine maintenance troubleshooting for equipment errors in conjunction with vendor technical supportSupport special events other campus activity specific to parking traffic operations place cones barricades appropriate signage as necessary provide traffic guidance in accordance with event plansInstall vehicle immobilization equipment accordance departmental procedure respond calls reserved parking violations assist coordinating towing removal vehicles from campusAssist students employees patients visitors disseminating information regarding lot condition utilization repairs functions relating lot/deck conditionsPerform other related duties assigned.Job description
