    Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

    Job Requirements

    Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

    Active Maryland state license

    Certification required:
    ARRT?N, CNMT, or NMTCB

    BLS certification (AHA only)

    Experience with Epic electronic medical record (Epic charting)

    Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

    Ability to float within the department as needed

    Strong communication, teamwork, and patient?care skills

    References: 2 satisfactory professional references required

    Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel technologist eligibility requirement)

    Responsibilities

    Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT, SPECT, HIDA, MUGA, bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and pediatric imaging

    Operate and troubleshoot GE and Siemens PET/CT and SPECT equipment

    Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety and radiopharmacy protocols

    Start and maintain IVs, draw venous blood, and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols

    Document procedures, dosing, and patient information accurately in the Epic system

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including radiology, nuclear medicine physicians, and rapid response teams

    Provide compassionate, age?appropriate care to patients from neonates through geriatrics

    Participate in department meetings, orientation, competency validation, and ongoing training as required

    Float within the department as needed to support clinical coverage and patient care
