ROOFING PROJECT MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate proposals from roofing estimators to ensure precision.

Assess construction drawings for viability, planning, and forecasting.

Daily monitoring of ongoing projects.

Supervise construction activities to guarantee alignment with design, budget, and schedule, involving interaction with client and A/E representatives, subcontractors, security personnel, etc.

Coordinate, plan, and supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned projects.

Uphold adherence to company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards.

Manage official project logs and documentation, including daily reports, equipment utilization reports, and photograph logs.

Assist in the implementation and interpretation of safety programs.

Provide guidance to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as needed.

• Execute additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Organize project schedules and oversee the purchase and tracking of materials for continuous project operation.

Order on-site testing from engineering services based on project demands.

Schedule meetings with clients and subcontractors.

Recruit qualified employees and forecast labor needs at least two weeks in advance.

Ensure daily and accurate completion of timesheets.

Collaborate with roofing crews to maintain and enhance morale.

Schedule and conduct annual employee evaluations.

Work with crews, property managers, consultants, and condo boards to complete and submit bonus paperwork.

Enforce company policies and standards.

Collaborate with roofing foremen to select crews and establish production goals before project commencement.

Manage construction schedules for projects and employees.

Monitor and secure materials on job sites daily.

• Supervise production on all projects to ensure daily budgets are met or exceeded.

Coordinate with other trades to ensure daily job flow.

Monitor quality through field inspections and customer feedback.

Ensure that rough and final inspections are scheduled, called in, and passed.

Manage subcontractors for safety.

Order materials for daily needs and negotiate and purchase large orders.

Secure long lead time items to ensure timely delivery and uninterrupted workflow.

Schedule and coordinate deliveries and cranes for large jobs.

Ensure all materials are on job sites daily.

Ensure all crews have necessary equipment to complete jobs daily.

Schedule and coordinate cranes and material deliveries.


QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years' supervisory experience in the roofing industry

Strong knowledge in estimating, purchasing, safety, inspections, and managing teams in the roofing industry

Excellent business acumen

*This position has the potential for revenue sharing and bonuses in addition to base salary.
