    AMS have an opportunity to work with one of our Investment Banking Clients as the Early Careers Recruitment Lead to work with the business globally to co-ordinate and execute the marketing and attraction strategy and selection process for Full Time, Off Cycle and Summer Intern Analysts (Graduate) hires across Markets Securities Services.

    You'll lead and manage Global Banking & Markets wide projects as relevant e.g. School Team Initiative.

    You'll support the wider Graduate Recruitment Team within London as well as Hong Kong & New York and act as the Global Lead Recruiter for Markets Securities Services.

    What does a "day in the life" of my new team look like?
    Campus Relationships & Marketing
    Work with relevant business sponsors to plan and execute the target university and on campus approach, evaluating the success of the previous campaign and ensuring business priorities are understood and realised
    Create annual global campus resourcing plans for relevant business areas, ensuring a true global picture and co-ordinated effort, and ensure these are executed with the business
    Own and build active relationships and knowledge base with defined target universities under remit. Ensure cross-business activity is developed and a partnership approach with fellow Analyst Recruiters and the global team in order to present a united face on campus
    Build ongoing, year-round relationships with university careers services and student societies etc. to effectively plan and execute all campus event logistics for milk round campaign for relevant target universities under ownership, becoming the subject matter expert
    Regularly attend campus events at target universities across UK and Europe
    Regularly attend networking seminars to keep abreast of industry developments / competitor activity and share learning with team and stakeholders
    Timely sourcing of business representatives for all events. Preparation of full informational packs in advance for all events attendees and conduct of briefing sessions for business representatives
    Analyst Recruitment - Full time & Summers/Off-Cycle Interns
    Ensure global hiring targets are defined appropriately and met for the Markets Securities Services business
    Support GBM Graduate Recruitment Manager with the recruitment and selection methodology process and ensure the approach and operational delivery is tailored to respond to business needs taking into account diverse audiences
    Work with the business to develop and define target global graduate profiles for relevant business areas and tailor the strategy accordingly
    Facilitate all relevant assessment centres for business areas and manage the debrief discussion and offer process
    Ensure accurate M.I is regularly collated and maintained on marketing / campus campaign success and hiring activity, liaising with colleagues in the global regions to ensure a full picture and 'one co-ordinated global face' to the business
    Liaise with potential recruits through the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a full understanding of the process and offer, if applicable
    Assist in the facilitation of the 'sell' process to close applicants at offer stage and ensure a smooth transition into the organisation / on to the programme(s)
    Work with the Programme Manager to ensure Summer Analyst and Off-Cycle Programmes are executed in line with business needs
    Oversee recruitment onboarding, and ensure Programme Manager incorporates relevant training and induction for MSS
    Input into networking / business briefing events, performance management and FT offer / sell process
    Work with the Global Research business to integrate the Industrial Placement further into the remit of the Graduate Recruitment Team, align key programme elements to those offered in the Summer Analyst Programme
    Diversity
    Support D&I Specialist in the design and implementation of all new Diversity recruiting programmes and activities across our business lines
    Develop effective working relationships with business sponsors, HR colleagues and external vendors to understand business needs and best practice
    Identify and target new Courses / Universities to broaden the pool of diverse talent and build understanding of target universities for MSS
    Work with all Analyst Recruiters to develop and expand HSBC's Diversity profile at Universities and schools globally
    Serve as point of contact for diverse student groups and interested students on campus and assist in educating about the Bank and its opportunities
    Support D&I Specialist in the development of an annual calendar of diversity recruiting events for UK GBM businesses and share with global teams to leverage
    Coordinate, plan and attend analyst level diversity presentations and receptions
    Work closely with the Graduate Recruitment & Development Team and Networks to identify speakers and divisional representatives and coordinate business representation at diversity based events
    Review and evaluate requests for corporate sponsorship and donations
    Budget
    Accurate logging and monitoring of all recruitment and marketing spend
    Ensure numbers remain within the AOP and relevant business strategy Miscellaneous
    Support the GBM Graduate Recruitment Lead in the development and introduction of new marketing and recruitment initiatives in line with business needs and lead projects
    What do I need to succeed in this role?

    Must haves:
    Proven graduate recruitment and marketing experience (ideally within a global Financial Services or Professional Services environment)
    Good understanding of different educational systems (Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific)
    Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Experience of HR systems / databases / Applicant Tracking Systems
    Vendor management experience (preferable)
    Graduate calibre
    European language desirable but must be fluent in English

    Nice to haves:
    HR / Learning and Development experience
    Experience of working within Investment Banking
    Experience in behavioural / competency-based interviewing (both face to-face and via the telephone)
    Being able to prioritise, identify and create learning opportunities across the organisation for team members, utilising your coaching and team development skills
