- Open and close golf shop.
- Complete daily operation of golf shop.
- Maintain inventory displays.
- Collect fees and provide information to guests.
- Operate POS System.
- Complete daily report and deposit.
- Communicate daily with Ambassadors, Starters, Golf Course Maintenance, and other employees.
- Exhibit knowledge of Tee Time System, Handicap System & Tournament Operations.
- May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or portfolio specific training to co-workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- May be expected to perform additional duties in an emergency.
- Cultivates and maintains effective working relations within the department, the District, as well as outside of the organization.
- Models behavior to the District Core Values at all times.
- Fosters a teamwork environment.
- Valid Florida Driver's License required.
- All candidates and employees must successfully pass background screening.
- Must have working knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, management practices and office procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Applicant must have strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read/write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Interior office environments, with moderate to loud noise typical for the work environment, when in office setting with moderate noise of computers and printers and moderate customer traffic.
- Personal protective equipment must be always worn if the job requires such equipment.
- Regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk up to seven (7) hours per shift; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance; and stop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the golf shop, which includes checking in and assisting guests, providing information to guests, displaying merchandise for sale and completing daily financial reports. Provides a friendly, welcoming atmosphere which will encourage residents and guests to have an enjoyable and safe time.
