Radiologic Technologist - Corpus Christi, United States - Pride Health
Description
Pride Health is hiring a Radiology Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a 13-weeks travel contract role, with possible extension.
Duties:
• Performs a variety of quality radiology procedures using utilizing X-Ray and DEXA equipment.
• Provides radiation protection to patients and staff, consistent with current State Department of Health standards and regulations.
• Appropriately adapts assigned client assessment, treatment and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific and other developmental needs of each person served.
• Maintains all equipment and paperwork in compliance with TDH standards and regulations as coordinated through the Radiation Safety Office.
• Maintains supplies, checks equipment status daily and reports any problems that could change the workflow.
• Correctly formats images, prints CD, and sends to the PACS.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required
• License and registry through ARRT required in Radiography.
• Current MRT License through Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• BLS certification
Education/Experience Required
• Associates or better in Radiologist Technology
• Prior X-ray experience required.
Schedule: Day Shift - 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Weekends a must)
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Floating Requirements: NA.
Weekly pay range: $2,000 to $2,202.00 weekly gross.
