    Description

    St. Mary Academy-Bay View is seeking a teacher for Theology and Campus Ministry for the Middle and Upper School for the school year. The candidate is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing theology classes that promote the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth of students in a dynamic all-girls school. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting campus ministry work within the school to support and nurture students' spiritual growth in alignment with the Mercy Values. Candidates must be committed to an all-girls and Mercy education.

    Qualifications:

    • Knowledge and experience teaching theology.
    • Knowledge and experience organizing and implanting campus ministry (retreats, liturgies, service) programs
    • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Integrates instructional and recordkeeping strategies using Google Suite, and/or other appropriate technology
    • Understands and appreciates the developmental range of the age group
    • Employs high-quality instruction using evidence-based practices to support all learners
    • Adapts teaching methods, projects and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
    • BA/BS degree in education, Master's degree preferred Successful candidates will possess the following attributes:
