Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician is responsible for assisting in direct patient care specific to the unit assigned; assisting with patient transfers and repositioning, transporting of patients, supplies or specimens; and any other duties as deemed necessary to ensure optimal patient care and physician service under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides patient care based upon the nursing process in accordance with the hospitals mission & vision as directed and observed by the RN/LPN.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and to follow written and oral instructions.
