MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

(A) Five (5) years of experience in information systems in: Computer programming, Software developer or Software engineer;

(B) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field,
completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field;
three (3) years of experience in: Computer programming, Software developer or Software engineer;

(C) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field,
one (1) year of experience in: Computer programming, Software developer or Software engineer.

Note: This position requires the operation of a state vehicle for official business. If you hold a license from outside Oregon, you must provide a three-year court/DMV printout. Candidates with an Oregon driver's license will undergo a record check to ensure validity.

Proficiency in developing multi-tiered software applications with hands-on design and development experience.
Clear and effective communication skills for conveying ideas to individuals of varying technical familiarity.
Experience in designing web-based and desktop applications.
Knowledge of C# programming and object-oriented programming techniques.
Familiarity with SOLID principles in object-oriented programming.
Understanding of various Software Development technology stacks such as MVC, ASP.NET, .NET, Angular, AngularJS, Blazor, MAUI, Xamarin, Win API, and Azure DevOps.
Experience with HTML5, JavaScript development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio IDE for software development.
Experience in application system configuration, change management, and troubleshooting.
Ability to create technical specifications and user manuals for non-technical users.
