    Job DescriptionBilingual CollectorPay Rate: $35,360 annually/$17.00 an hourLocation: Conroe, TX 77301Hours: Contract to Possible Hire; Monday- Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm A national law firm specializing in government debt collection is seeking a Bilingual Collector to join their team Responsibilities:
    • Contact and collect taxes with delinquent business, personal property, and mobile home owners
    • Utilize conflict resolution skills.
    • Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.
    • Communicate with other departments as needed.
    • Serve as primary backup to the Taxpayer Liaison.
    • Answer phones, assist taxpayers, and create payment agreements.
    • Process payments, disbursements, and mail.
    List Qualification or Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bilingual in Spanish required.
    • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • A valid driver license, car insurance, and a clean driving record are required.
