    Job DescriptionDescription:

    The main function is to assist the lead Construction Project Manager in overseeing his/her assigned projects. Effectively communicate with clients and field service personnel, gather the necessary information to prepare estimates and coordinate a team of construction professionals of different disciplines to ensure all projects are completed on time, according to requirements, and without exceeding budget. Provide support as a team player and assist in all the following responsibilities.

    • Plan and implement small to medium construction and maintenance projects
    • Direct and lead the work of technical staff
    • Evaluate strategies and procedures
    • Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
    • Maintain required project documentation
    • Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
    • Facilitate communication with client and maintain client requirements
    • Procure supplies, construction materials and equipment needed
    • Secure vendors and contracts
    • Maintain GL, P&L and monitor fiscal benchmarks

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in repair, construction, or other related fields
    • Ability to read and implement construction blueprints
    • Strong construction project management skills
    • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
    • Deadline and detail-oriented
    • Leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and motivate field service personnel
    • PC proficient
    • Proposal preparation experience
    • Strong ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Construction and/or facilities maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
    • Responsible, punctual and demonstrate good judgement.
    • Ability to work some early mornings, nights, and weekends if necessary.
    • Possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
    • Must have some of your own hand and power tools.
    • Well-spoken and an effective communicator.
    • Neat, professional appearance.
    • Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
    • Must be able to lift equipment, items, and materials up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to reach overhead equipment, items, and materials up to 15 lbs.
    • Must be able to reach overhead up to 6 feet, and reach to the floor.
    • This is an office position (M/F 9a-5p)
