- Candidates must be local and willing to work onsite
- Collaborate with engineering team to assess firmware requirements and offer insights
- Participate in weekly bug classification and prioritization sessions
- Set up test network environments as specified in test plans
- Conduct system-wide end-to-end integration and regression testing
- Record results and discuss with designated teams or vendors if needed
- Assist in resolving issues identified during testing; create and document workarounds, and support operations team as required
- Engage in Operational handoff review activities
- Complete tasks within project timelines
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on network engineering experience, especially with a cable Multiple System Operator (MSO) or Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Experience in CPE Testing is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of DOCSIS, PacketCable, and provisioning, including TR069
- Experience in IP routing, IP multicast, streaming video, wireless, VoIP, and home networking
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under tight deadlines, with strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of industry standards and specifications
- Proficiency in network design, protocols, and topology
- Experience with ticketing and software tools
- Fast-paced working capability and quick technology adaptation
- Proficiency in tools like Jira and Remedy
- Experience with fiber, PON, GPON, lab work, automation, databases, scripting, and system administration is advantageous
- Familiarity with Agile environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
