- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
- Collect specimens for testing and perform basic laboratory procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with wound care and dressing changes
- Use aseptic technique to prevent infection transmission
- Assist with airway management and ventilate patients when necessary
- Perform patient assessments and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
