    Managing a PIM with a large user base is part art & part science. We're seeking a motivated PIM Manager to set up and support product content and data activities. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the technology landscape, including various data management systems and architectures. This role will manage a team of analysts and work closely with digital operations, IT & sales stakeholders. The ideal candidate understands distribution supply chains and thrives in a complex environment with many moving parts. The Sr PIM Manager will also contribute to PIM operations, support, and user training activities.

    Responsibilities

    Team Management

    Oversee team of analysts responsible for item set-up, enhancement, and classification.

    *Support team as necessary in responding to ad hoc requests to adjust/correct product data

    *Support team as necessary in collaboration with DAM Manager to adjust/correct product images

    *Establish processes, documentation and training for new PIM Team analysts

    Data Model & Governance

    Support the continuous improvement of our Product Information Management (PIM) data model by automating processes and streamlining/optimizing where possible.

    Set up and maintain data quality standards and document/provide feedback to users to ensure standards are understood

    Create formulas to complete complex data conversions & attribute/hierarchy mapping

    Channel Mapping, Syndication & Data Imports

    Facilitate the creation of new sales channels and deprecation of old channels as needed

    Build and enhance Excel templates for users to complete data gathering

    Assist business units in loading large sets of product data into inRiver

    Support onboarding of new business units and ERP/DAM integrations

    Operations & Support

    Design and implement PIM systems that enable the efficient and effective management of product information across multiple channels and platforms

    Work closely with business stakeholders to understand product information management needs and develop solutions that meet those needs

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Digital Asset Management and Product Management to ensure that product information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date

    Facilitate enablement of journey to elevate our product content to best-in-class via reporting, insights, multivariate testing, etc.

    Develop processes to support data needs including reports, audits, and data transformation

    Collaborate with Taxonomist to integrate data elements into new schemas established by PIM taxonomist

    Change Management

    Stay abreast of everchanging retailer requirements and inRiver feature updates, communicate them to the PIM team and brand stakeholders as needed

    Documentation

    Define and document PIM processes so any PIM team member can quickly understand the purpose of formulas, attributes, etc.

    Collaborate with the stakeholders on strategy for rolling out new capabilities

    IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

    Required Qualifications

    Experience creating & managing data models, workflows, tasks, formulas, channels, mapping, transformation, and process documentation

    5+ years' experience in PIM management, architecture and implementation or similar position

    2+ years' experience managing a team

    Strong knowledge of PIM concepts, principles, and best practices

    Deep understanding of data management systems and architectures, including data modeling, metadata management, and data governance

    Strong communication/interpersonal skills and ability to interact with users to gather data, resolve issues, and develop effective working relationships across the organization

    Excel power user (complex formulas, pivot tables, queries, lookups, data validations, etc.)

    Excellent technical documentation skills (supporting both technical & business users)

    Solid analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities

    Experience supporting PIM users

    Ecommerce experience (1P and/or 3P)

    Familiarity with taxonomy development & deployment (in conjunction with Taxonomist)

    Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience

    Experience leading initiative to integrate PIM product to other systems

    Certification with SAS PIM products such as inRiver/Salsify/Infomatica, etc.

    Distribution supply chain or B2B ecommerce experience

    SharePoint experience
