    Description

    Field Services Technician I

    We are looking for a Field Services Technician I to join our Field Services team at [Company Name]. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Field Services Supervisor to provide assistance in diagnosing and resolving computer hardware/software issues at the desktop/laptop level.


    Responsibilities

    • Perform Return-to-Service (RTS) activities
    • Offer break-fix incident support and fulfill service requests on-site
    • Install/uninstall software, hardware, computers, and peripherals for break-fix
    • Image and re-image new and existing computers
    • Collaborate with other departments to update asset tracking
    • Provide device support for break fix and new provisioning of services
    • Maintain a knowledge base of common resolution techniques for Windows
    • Participate in root cause analysis activities
    • Coordinate with other functions to ensure appropriate configurations are in place
    • Verify non-standard hardware and software

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of Technical Support experience
    • Proficiency in utilizing computers and related technology
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Basic hardware troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and products

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Tier 1 Apple certifications
    • CompTIA A+ certification
    • Knowledge of Linux platforms
