    Description

    Summary

    The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their Facilities Management Service team.

    Duties

    • Full responsibility for supervising planning, organizing, directing, evaluating, and managing processes for Mechanical Maintenance & Repair, Operations.
    • Advising on integration of Mechanical Maintenance and Repair programs into the healthcare system's mission.
    • Decision-making authority on Maintenance and Repair of various systems.
    • Supervising maintenance and repair of medical center buildings, structures, and equipment.
    • Ensuring energy performance, efficiency, and regulatory goals are met.
    • Reviewing actions related to utility infrastructure to maintain service delivery.
    • Managing Legionella Prevention program in line with VHA Directive 1061.
    • Handling administrative support operations, including scheduling, purchasing, and records upkeep.
    • Overseeing facility and network software support systems.
    • Managing internal personnel-related programs efficiently.
    • Communicating policies and priorities to employees and delegating tasks to section chiefs.

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
