    This position is responsible for gathering, organizing, and preparing financial data to support various data request items made in conjunction with compliance/financial audits, including but not limited to third party participations and residuals/guild audits of various Paramount Global divisions (Paramount Pictures, CBS Studios, Showtime, Viacom Networks, etc.), US GAAP external audits, international statutory audits, and providing support for internal projects, such as international tax filings and transaction data analysis.

    This position will also assist with documentation preparation and support for legal document productions and arbitration claims and queries.
    Reporting to the Director Audit & Compliance, and in partnership with supporting other Directors in the Audit Group, this position will:
    Assist with pulling supporting documentation requests for external auditors, internal auditors, and other ad-hoc in-house projects.
    Perform data extractions and prepare reports to support financial statement balances
    Research and obtain support as needed for requested selections and ensure the timely completion of any outstanding selections
    Reconcile and review the propriety and reasonableness of financial data received by the various divisions as reported and investigate any unusual activities
    Compile financial data, remove extraneous data, and redact confidential documentation and critical contract agreements as deemed necessary prior to providing to external parties
    Ensure the integrity of the account reconciliations, financial models and quality of spreadsheets used in analysis and provided to the respective parties
    If unusual data attributes are identified, coordinate with the appropriate supervisor as to the proper disposition of these items and analyze and handle any corrections or adjustments, if necessary
    Assist with locating and retrieving historical records from archived records (off-site facilities) in support of third-party audits of any Paramount Global division
    Perform various projects such as research, special projects and data analysis as needed
    Basic Qualifications
    4+ years related work experience
    Additional Qualifications
    Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economic, or IT systems and Engineering with relevant work experience preferred
    Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential
    Highly organized and detail oriented
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Willingness to accept responsibility for projects/processes and ability to work with limited direct supervision
    Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
    Ability to multi-task and handle a heavy workload in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
    CPA candidate or CPA designation are a plus
    Aptitude for data analysis or data warehousing skills (SAP, Hyperion) are a plus
    Public accounting (audit) or internal audit experience is preferable
    Strong (and current) technical knowledge of GAAP preferred
    Prior entertainment experience is preferable

    Hiring Salary Range:
    $63, ,000.00.

    The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies.

    Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
