- Draft, review, revise, and negotiate various notices, motions, civil complaints, including master service agreements, vendor/supplier contracts, confidentiality agreements, construction agreements, real estate agreements, and reseller agreements, with an emphasis on outbound contracts.
- Attend hearings, argue motions, review review and collect Discovery
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Work closely and partner with the staff on transactions that drive the company's revenue.
- Perform other special assignments, strategic projects or duties as assigned.
- Advise and interpret real estate contract requirements, obligations and risks.
- Proactively work with internal stakeholders to improve and scale all aspects of the litigation process, including improving templates and workflow.
- Will work directly with senior staff and principal counsel on all matters and afforded independence and flexibility on projects.
- 5-20 hours per week, with more on busy weeks. Paid hourly, commensurate with experience.

- Assist in case management, including document review and organization, deposition preparation, and witness preparation
- Work with senior attorneys and staff to develop litigation strategies and provide legal advice to clients
- Attend depositions, mediations, and other meetings with clients and opposing counsel
- Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third-party stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
- Stay up-to-date on changes to laws, regulations, and court rules that may affect litigation strategy or client representation
- Provide support to other attorneys and staff as needed, including attending firm meetings and participating in training programs.
- JD, LLB & LLM, or equivalent law degree.
- Barred in Utah (or registered for the July UBE Bar Exam with plans to join Utah Bar)
- Experience with litigation matters.
- Experience reviewing and redlining commercial contracts.
- Knowledge of data protection privacy laws a plus.
- Experience with a civil litigation a plus.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple business functions in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-growth environment, as well as experience navigating ambiguity.
- Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision; excellent project management skills and outstanding communication and follow-up skills to drive process and results to a conclusion.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work along with an ability to adapt well to changing and competing priorities, as well as unexpected situations, with grace and professionalism.
- Excellent judgment and experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, credibility, and character of unquestionable ethical standards.
- Efficient legal research skills and proficiency with legal research software
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and learning various other cloud software applications
- Own your own laptop
- Willingness to occasionally work on-site at our Salt Lake office.

This attorney is responsible for supporting all levels of the organization and needs to be located in the Salt Lake Metropolitan area. However, this role has significant flexibility hybrid (onsite and offsite) work options.
We are looking for a collaborative team player that can work effectively with staff members at every level of our organization, as well as external clients, vendors and business and legal partners. The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter and capable of working with minimal direction, can adjust to new situations quickly, and be comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. Given the sensitive nature of the data our team handles, the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness is critical.
