Job Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you'll be the vital link between our guests' overnight experience and our front desk operations. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure smooth night-time hotel operations, deliver exceptional guest services, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. As a Night Auditor, you'll be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs during nighttime hours, reconciling financial transactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable stays for our guests while supporting the seamless functioning of our hotel.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, providing friendly and efficient service
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills
- Reconcile daily financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account adjustments with accuracy
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including occupancy summaries, incident logs, and financial summaries
- Monitor security systems and perform routine safety checks to ensure guest safety throughout the night
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, offering solutions that enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area to uphold a professional appearance
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management roles, with a strong background in front desk operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest experiences
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Familiarity with night audit procedures, hotel software systems, and multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for financial reconciliation and reporting
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels
- Previous hotel experience or resort background is preferred but not required
