Position Summary:
The Grant Administrator Intern will work alongside the Grants Program Manager in the Office of Research and Grants to assist in researching, identifying, and writing grants for the individual GCU colleges.
This position will support the growth of the grants office as the University's need for grant funding expands.Primary Responsibilities:
Learn existing focus areas for each college to better identify applicable funding sourcesResearch grant opportunities from all types of funding sources (local, state, federal) to present to the Grants Program Manager for each collegeAssist in developing grant narratives and completing proposalsMay accompany Grants Program Manager in meeting with faculty to gather information needed for the grantAssist Grants Program Manager in forming grant strategies for each college

Microsoft Word, Microsoft ExcelGrant searching and tracking SoftwareQualifications:Completed or currently enrolled in PRW-345 (Introduction to Grant Writing)
Experience/Education:

Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
