    Description
    The role of the CRI Program Director is to oversee the management of operations and administrative functions related to Health Information Data Management and informatics tools and services. Here are the key points:

    Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Science, Clinical Research, Bioinformatics, or related field.
    • Related graduate study in Informatics, computer science, IT, or related field highly desired.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 7-10 years Leadership and management experience in Health Information Data Management or providing informatics tools/services.
    • Experience providing informatics tools/services to academic researchers.
    • Experience within an academic medical/healthcare environment preferred.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Excellent time management and ability to grasp new technologies quickly.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
    Position Accountabilities:
    • Program Planning and Management: Develop and communicate CRI program objectives, content, and operating policies. Prepare long and short-range plans for applications selection, systems development, and maintenance.
    • Program Evaluation: Conduct and participate in program evaluation. Prepare and present reports on program productivity and impact.
    • Marketing and Promotion: Develop strategies for marketing or promoting the program, including needs assessment, promotion plans, and events planning.
    • Security and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement security-related procedures. Conduct quality assurance reviews and recommend changes as appropriate.
    • Finance and Management: Develop and manage program budgets. Directly or indirectly supervise subordinate staff. Recruit, screen, hire, and train staff. Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance and feedback.
    • Research: Assist in writing grant applications, publications, white papers, and presentations. Collaborate with stakeholders from various institutions on new initiatives and service opportunities.
    Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000
