Job summary
We are currently accepting applications for Plant Maintenance on 2nd and 3rd shifts at our Central Bi-Products facility in Long Prairie,MN. The successful candidate will maintain troubleshoot repair install various types of production equipment throughout the facility perform weekly monthly annual preventative maintenance tasks such as greasing machinery filling hydraulic fluids replacing belts or other worn parts operate skid steers forklifts payloaders telehandlers bucket trucks boom trucks aerial lifts correctly operate and maintain welding fabrication equipment handle small electrical plumbing projects document materials used time spent on maintenance projects assist Parts Coordinator with inventory cycle counts transport deliver parts equipment to outside businesses or divisions follow all company safety policies practices procedures improvement initiatives comply regulatory compliance requirements including environmental food/feed safety.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a mechanical discipline preferred experience in food/feed production valued
- Ability effectively communicate supervisors coworkers follow written verbal instructions accurately read understand signs labels warnings directions operator manuals service manuals wiring schematics associated instruments equipment chemical usage.
